Oh my goodness, take a look at this Seiko mod. It’s a SNK809 with a Rolex Milgauss second hand and SKX013 dial. Not sure what case that is, maybe custom. Pretty cool little piece. Found on Barton Watch Bands Instagram.

I’ve been on the lookout for a used 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field Auto for a bit, but now Hamilton has released the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical, which may end my search for an Auto. I love that there’s no date, the bold design, brushed case, and the hand-wound movement. While the price is good for a watch of this quality, it’s still a bit steep for me. Hmm, maybe I could justify it if I sold all my other watches …

I’m in love with the Oris ChronOris Date. It’s strikes the perfect balance between subtlety and uniqueness. I also find it refreshing that it has a 39mm case, and is 43mm lug to lug. Here’s a video overview from Worn and Wound.
I’ll probably never own an Oris due to the price, so I was excited to see Seiko release the SRPB13, which has a similar aesthetic. Unfortunately, Seiko made it 44mm wide, which is too big for my taste.

This mod of a Seiko SNK turned out amazing! It uses the dial of a SKX, and hands from Dagaz. It’s perfect if you want a diver look without the bulk.

Zenith has introduced the new Defy Lab watch, which they say is the most accurate mechanical watch ever made. It runs at a frequency five-times greater than a standard mechanical watch and has a 60-hour power reserve. I’m also loving the material it’s made from, which is called aeronith. It’s an ultra-light aluminum composite that looks a bit like concrete. The price? Just $31,000 if you want one of the first 10. See a video overview from aBlogtoWatch.
